The Bryce 3D install CD must also be mounted on the desktop when asked to enter the code.

Copy and pasting of the code does not work. The code must be entered manually.

If applying the 3.1 update: The Bryce 3D install CD is also required for the initial launch of the update application. i.e.; The update cannot be applied to a demo, freeware, foreign, or beta (pre-release) version of Bryce 3D, nor can it be used to update an older commercial version of Bryce.
